Dyson officially unveiled the product last year, combining air purification and noise elimination functions.Dyson Zone headphonesAfter being launched in markets such as China and Hong Kong, it is now finally available in the Taiwan market and will be sold on the official website and designated channels from today.
The Taiwan version will be available in two models. The Dyson Zone Absolute+ in Prussian blue with bright copper will be sold only on the Dyson official website and Dyson department store counters across Taiwan, with a suggested retail price of NT$31900. The Dyson Zone in sky blue with bright silver will be sold through the ZZZ online fundraising platform, with a suggested retail price of NT$28900.
Both versions will offer early bird discounts during their initial release, along with a two-year warranty and convenient home delivery service. The key differences, besides the color scheme, are the included storage cases and accessories. The Dyson Zone Absolute+ comes with a leather storage case, a convenient velvet pouch, an in-flight headphone jack adapter, and an additional electrostatic activated carbon filter. The Dyson Zone, on the other hand, comes with a knob storage case and only one electrostatic activated carbon filter, omitting the convenient velvet pouch and in-flight headphone jack adapter.

Follow Dyson instructionsThis product aims to solve the problems of air quality and noise in daily life, and combines Dyson airflow, filtration and motor technology in the form of headphones. After 6 years of research and development and more than 500 prototype designs, Dyson's smallest motor ever is placed in the headphone mechanism. Through mask accessories and filtration systems, users can breathe fresh air at any time while moving. In addition, they can also isolate environmental noise through the active noise reduction function.
As for the headphones, they are equipped with a 40mm, 16-ohm impedance neodymium alloy amplifier unit with a frequency range of 6Hz to 21kHz, which exceeds the normal recognition level of the human ear and can present clear bass, mid-range and treble details. At the same time, they can provide up to 50 hours of low-distortion music playback. Turning on the air purification function can also maintain 4 hours of music playback time, and the headphones can be charged to 3% in 100 hours.
However, the sound field settings only provide three Dyson adjustment options: Enhanced, Bass Boost, and Neutral. Users are not currently allowed to customize the sound field.
Of the 11 microphones in total, eight are responsible for active noise reduction, sampling at a rate of 8 times per second to eliminate up to 38400 decibels of ambient noise. The remaining three microphones utilize beamforming technology for clearer calls. The noise reduction function also features three options: full blockout, transparency mode, and turning off active noise reduction.
The air filtration system is powered by Dyson's smallest motor yet, drawing air through a compressor operating at up to 9750 rpm. The first layer, an electrostatic filter, uses negatively charged electrostatic media to capture 99% of ultrafine particles as small as 0.1 microns, including allergens, industrial combustion, and construction waste. The second layer, a potassium-rich carbon filter, captures harmful gases like nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, and ozone, as well as urban odors like construction fumes, sewage, and musty subway odors.
The mask accessory quickly attaches to the earphones magnetically, and the earphones' built-in accelerometer automatically adjusts the airflow speed based on the wearer's walking posture. If the wearer removes the mask or temporarily pulls it down, the earphones automatically pause airflow and music playback, and automatically activate conversation mode, allowing users to chat or handle tasks other than using the earphones.
Users can set the Dyson Zone headphone functions through the MyDyson App, including adjusting the air flow and sound noise reduction mode, or adjusting the sound field according to personal needs, or instantly confirm the current air quality and environmental noise conditions through the App, and filter and reduce noise through the headphones.
