Launched in Taiwan last yearPure Cool Smart Air Purifier SeriesLater, Dyson announced today (9/18) the launch of the new Pure Cool Cryptomic TP06 06-in-XNUMX Cool Wind Smart Air Purifier and the Pure Hot+Cool Cryptomic HPXNUMX XNUMX-in-XNUMX Cool and Warm Smart Air Purifier. Both are advertised as being able to use Cryptomic formaldehyde decomposition technology to decompose harmful substances such as formaldehyde in the air into trace amounts of water vapor and carbon dioxide.

Continuing the design of the previous Pure Cool smart air purifier series and Dyson's signature bladeless design, the new Pure Cool Cryptomic TP06 two-in-one cool and warm smart air purifier and Pure Hot+Cool Cryptomic HP06 three-in-one cool and warm smart air purifier are also advertised as being able to effectively eliminate formaldehyde in the air through Cryptomic formaldehyde decomposition technology, and decompose formaldehyde into trace water vapor and carbon dioxide.
According to relevant research, formaldehyde is emitted from chemical coatings such as paint, adhesives, pressed wood furniture, wrinkle-resistant fabrics and other materials. It can even remain in the air for up to 15 years. This is especially true in Asia, where there is a lot of air pollution. In fact, in the past five years, about 5% of interior decoration has exceeded the formaldehyde standard.
The colorless and odorless formaldehyde component will irritate the eyes and cause itching in the respiratory tract at low concentrations. Once the formaldehyde level exceeds the standard, it will cause adverse effects on the body, and may cause allergic rhinitis, asthma and other problems. In severe cases, it may even cause leukemia, lymphoma and other conditions.
Therefore, Dyson's new Pure Cool smart air purifier series boasts Cryptomic formaldehyde decomposition technology, effectively removing formaldehyde from the air while also filtering out harmful substances. While retaining the same fanless design as its predecessor, it also features a sensor that automatically monitors air pollution and suspended matter levels, displaying quantitative air quality data on an LCD screen using Dyson's proprietary algorithms.

Through the HEPA filter with an actual length of 10 meters, Dyson claims that it can remove 99.95% of fine particles as small as PM 0.1, and claims that it can remove most allergens, bacteria, pollen, and mold spores, and absorb odors, benzene, and nitrogen dioxide through the activated carbon filter, thereby removing toxic gases in the room.
Different from previous models, the newly launched Pure Cool Cryptomic TP06 two-in-one cool wind smart air purifier and Pure Hot+Cool Cryptomic HP06 three-in-one cool and warm smart air purifier will adopt a golden mesh shell design on the outside of the base, while the body will be available in black or white.

In addition to air purification and toxic substance filtration, these new models also utilize Air Multiplier technology and a 350-degree surround air blowing mode to deliver clean air to every corner of the room at a rate of 290 liters per second. The Pure Hot+Cool Cryptomic HP06 three-in-one cooling and heating smart air purifier also features a hot air delivery function and constant temperature control technology to prevent overheating and save energy.
In addition to operating the system via the remote control, users can also use their mobile phone to remotely operate the system through the Dyson Link app, and can further confirm changes in indoor air quality, as well as the trends in temperature and humidity data, and even the filter life of the air purifier.
In terms of suggested retail price, the Pure Cool Cryptomic TP06 two-in-one cool wind smart air purifier will be launched at NT$24900, while the Pure Hot+Cool Cryptomic HP06 three-in-one cool and warm smart air purifier has a suggested retail price of NT$28900.
