As Insta360 continues to maintain its leading position in the 360-degree panoramic camera market, DJI is apparently also planning to launch its first 360-degree panoramic camera, which may be called DJI OSMO 360.
DJI's official Facebook fan page in Taiwan also posted a message a few days ago asking, "If DJI also launches a 360-degree panoramic camera, what features are you most looking forward to?" Although it added the hypothetical statement "It's really just if", many people still speculated that DJI is preparing to launch its first 360-degree panoramic camera to compete with Insta360 in the market.
There are also some reports that DJI's first 360-degree panoramic camera will be named DJI OSMO 360, and its photosensitive element will beInsta360 X5The use of photosensitive elements of similar size means that it can also capture high-brightness images at night and reduce noise. As for the appearance, it is a bit similar to the GoPro MAX or GoPro Fusion that GoPro has launched in the past.
Judging from the current competition between DJI and Insta360, Insta360 has actually already laid out its presence in the handheld stabilizer market. When it recently announced the Insta360 X5, it also unveiled its first wireless microphone accessory in an OEM form and with an experimental nature. It also revealed that a more complete microphone product will be released in the second half of this year. It is obvious that all of this is to compete with DJI for more audio and video content creation markets. Therefore, it does not seem surprising that DJI also plans to launch a 360-degree panoramic camera next.
