Developer Michael Steeber uses an app for Mac to allow users toDigital methodTake a look at four famous Apple Stores that Apple has opened at different times in the past.
Through the app, users will be able to virtually tour Apple Tysons Corner Center, the company’s first store, which opened in Washington, D.C. on May 2001, 5, and Apple Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto, which opened on October 19, 2004. It also includes Apple Fifth Avenue in New York, which opened on May 10, 16, and Apple Infinite Loop at Apple’s former headquarters in California, which opened on September 2006, 5.
Prior to this, Michael Steeber had also digitally recreated Apple The Mall at Bay Plaza in The Bronx, New York, andPresented through the online platform Storeteller, users can navigate by simply opening the web link.
This time, it is installed and used via a 610MB dmg file, allowing users to view the interior of these four famous Apple Stores through their Mac, and even see the flagship Apple products of the time, such as the PowerBook using IBM PowerPC processors, or the later popular iPod mini, as well as architectural designs such as the glass staircase in the Fifth Avenue store, and special commemorative products sold at the old headquarters.
Even as you "move" around the store, you can see excerpts of conversations with former Apple CEO and founder Steve Jobs.
