The HTC Desire 728 dual SIM, previously launched in China, will be available in Taiwan in late October for NT$10. It is expected to be available on a subscription basis with Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan Mobile, Far EasTone Telecommunications, Taiwan Star, and Asia Pacific Telecom.
The HTC Desire 728 dual-sim features a 5.5-inch 720p SLCD display, a MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. The internal storage can be expanded by an additional 2TB via a micro SD card slot (supporting micro SDXC). It also features dual-SIM dual standby. The camera setup includes a 1300-megapixel main camera and a 500-megapixel video camera. It runs Android 5.1.1 and is equipped with the HTC Sense 7.0 user interface.
The HTC Desire 728 dual sim features a metal frame and is available in Diamond White and Graphite Black. The HTC Desire 728 dual sim is expected to launch in Taiwan in late October with a suggested retail price of NT$10.
With the announcement of the HTC Desire 728 dual SIM launch in Taiwan, HTC stated that it will target the market demand for large-size, low-priced phones, while also offering a more premium smartphone experience with its metal frame design, thereby satisfying a wider consumer market.
