Among them, Dell applies the compact body design to more laptops, so the XPS 13, XPS 14 and XPS 16 all use large-size touchpads integrated with the left and right sides, as well as hidden function buttons, which also improves button operability. They also use a narrower screen bezel design and an aluminum alloy body.
In conjunction with Microsoft's addition of the Copilot artificial intelligence digital assistant service in the new version of Windows 11, the new laptop is also equipped with an independent button for quickly calling Copilot.
Like the previously launched XPS 13 Plus, the new XPS 13 is only equipped with two USB-C ports on the body and removes the headphone jack design. However, the XPS 14 and XPS 16 retain three USB-C ports and a headphone jack. In addition, an SD memory card reader is added, and a set of USB-C to USB-A and HDMI output adapter accessories are included.
The XPS 13 is the only model without a dedicated graphics card option, while the XPS 14 and XPS 16 both offer the option of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards. All models ship with a Full HD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, while the XPS 13 and XPS 14 offer the option of a 3K OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz.
Dell plans to launch the new XPS 13, XPS 14, and XPS 16 in the US market in the near future, with a suggested retail price starting at US$1299.99.
Along with this update, Dell also announced the launch of new Ultrasharp series monitors, including the 4025-inch UltraSharp 40 Curved Thunderbolt Hub Monitor model U40QW and the UltraSharp 3425 Curved Thunderbolt Hub Monitor model U34WE. Both monitors are curved monitor designs and can be connected to laptops via the Thunderbolt 4 port. In addition to providing laptop charging and external display functions, they also have hub functions such as multiple USB-A, USB-C and network cable connection ports. Both monitors also meet the German Rhine eye protection certification.
The difference between the two monitors lies in that the U4025QW supports 5K resolution and VESA's DisplayHDR 600 standard certification, has a 99% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and can provide up to 140W of power. The U3425WE has a 3440 x 1440 resolution and only supports 90W of power. Both monitors are expected to be launched in February this year.
