Although TikTok has been restored in the United States, it is still not available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. As a result, many services have begun to compete for TikTok's user market. For example, the decentralized social service Bluesky recently announced the launch of a video service called Trending Videos, which is similar to TikTok content.Vertical format short video service, and can be linked together through tag content.
Popular videos currently available on BlueskyStill a testing versionCurrently, many of the short videos included are obviously from the TikTok platform, and Bluesky has not explained the details of the algorithm behind these videos.
We had to get in on the video action too — Bluesky now has custom feeds for video!
Like any other feed, you can choose to pin these or not. Bluesky is yours to customize.

Meanwhile, X has also launched short, vertical video content, apparently hoping to attract more users from the recent TikTok market. Instagram, on the other hand, has revealed plans to launch a new mobile editing tool, "Edits," to attract more users to edit video content and quickly upload it to Instagram for sharing.
In an earlier statement, Trump, who became the US President again, said he would issue an executive orderExtending the effective date of the TikTok ban, in order to ensure that U.S. security is not affected by reaching a consensus. Trump also stated that he hopes that any company that establishes a joint venture with TikTok will hold at least a 50% stake, thereby ensuring a certain degree of control over the new joint venture.
Trump's statement means that TikTok services can resume operations in the United States, and Oracle and Akamai, which previously helped host TikTok's services in the United States, will not face legal problems and be fined up to billions of dollars.
However, Google and Apple have not yet restored TikTok services to their respective software stores.
