Creative, which has launched many headphone products in the past, recently announced the launch of its first true wireless headphone product, named the Aurvana Ace series. Pre-orders are expected to be open from November 11, but the specific release date has not yet been confirmed.
The Aurvana Ace series of headphones comes in two sizes: Aurvana Ace and Aurvana Ace 2. Both utilize MEMS solid-state speaker technology developed in collaboration with xMEMS Labs to provide a clearer audio experience that's closer to real-world space, with a frequency response between 5Hz and 40kHz.
Because the MEMS speaker unit made of all-silicon solid state is smaller in size and can have higher phase audio performance than traditional speaker units, it can also interpret more delicate sound details and can be used in smaller headphone designs, thus giving the Aurvana Ace series headphones a better wearing experience.
Other specifications include active noise reduction, 6 sets of microphones, and up to 24 hours of playback time (with a charging box). It also supports IPX5 waterproof level, is equipped with Bluetooth 5.3, and supports LE Audio audio technology and LC3 encoding.
In terms of suggested retail price, Aurvana Ace will be sold at US$129.99, while Aurvana Ace 2 will be priced at US$149.99. The main difference between the two is the appearance design of the headphones.
