In celebration of Black History Month in February, Apple, as is its tradition, launched a special edition watch band for 2026 today (January 26th) – the "Black Unity Unity Connection Braided Solo Loop." This band, themed around "connection," features classic Pan-African flag colors and has a suggested retail price of NT$3100. Orders are open today.

This year's design theme is "Unity Connection," and it was designed collaboratively by Black creators within Apple and their allies.
The watch strap features the highly acclaimed "Braided Solo Loop," which utilizes advanced precision weaving machinery to wind recycled polyester yarns around an ultra-thin silicone wire. Visually, the strap is created through a multi-layered interweaving of the three representative colors of the Pan-African flags—red, green, and black—resulting in a unique texture and three-dimensional effect.
Besides its eye-catching appearance, this watch strap is also sweat-proof and waterproof, and its texture is soft and comfortable.
Supporting public welfare, compatible with historical models
In addition to launching products, Apple also announced its continued support for organizations around the world dedicated to advancing the development of communities of color. This year's recipients include Boys & Girls Clubs of America in the United States, Urban Arts in New York, Youth Music in London, the Art Gallery of New South Wales in Sydney, and Enactus México in Mexico City, continuing its commitment to promoting economic, educational, and creative opportunities.
In terms of specifications, the new Unity Connection woven monoloop watch band offers two case sizes, 42mm and 46mm (corresponding to the new size standard of Apple Watch Series 10/11), and provides length options from 0 to 12.
