THQ Nordic and Appeal Studios announced earlier that they will launch a new sequel based on the 1999 "Outcast", and it will be named "Outcast 2: A New Beginning".
The release of the first trailer also confirmed that the protagonist of "Mr. Owl" Cutter Slade will appear again and return to the alien world to carry out a rescue mission.
"Outlander 2: A New Beginning" will be produced by the original team of "Outlander", and the game music will also be composed by Lennie Moore, the composer of "Outlander".
Players can also use jetpacks to jump, sprint, or glide in the game, explore the open-world, and defeat enemies with a combination of weapons. The missions in the game are not carried out on a linear timeline, allowing players to play according to their personal preferences and determine the direction of the story based on their progress.
"Heroes of Time 2: A New Beginning" will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and Windows PC platforms, but the estimated release date has not yet been announced.
