CNNAnnounce, its streaming video service CNN+ will be officially launched on March 3th local time in the United States.
CNN announced its plan to enter the streaming video service market in July last year, which will provide CNN's daily broadcast content, as well as new programs and original content, and even allow users to choose to play past content.
The initial price will be $2.99 per month, and after one month it will return to $5.99 per month, or $59.99 per year. However, CNN explained that if users sign up within a month of the service's launch and continue using it for more than a month, they will continue to be charged at $2.99 per month, in an effort to attract more subscribers.
After the launch of CNN+, CNN will continue to operate its original app service and provide differentiated content on the CNN+ service to attract more users to subscribe.
But CNN's parent company, WarnerMedia, is preparing to announce a deal withMerger with DiscoveryIt is uncertain whether this will affect the operation mode of CNN+ services.
