Just like the Circul+ smart ring launched by Bodimetrics in 2021, which added support for ECG function, Circular's new smart ring Ring 2025, which was displayed at the pre-CES 2 event, also added ECG measurement function. It is claimed to be able to produce accurate ECG results, with a battery life of up to 8 days, and the ring itself will not appear out of place.
Circular boasts of improved sensor elements and updated artificial intelligence algorithms, allowing Ring 2 to create more accurate ECG results. The ring is available in gold, silver, black and rose gold styles made of titanium.
The Ring 2 features a design that's more like a regular ring and is more suitable for everyday wear. However, unlike the original Ring 2, it doesn't have a vibration notification feature for notifications, but this feature is expected to be added via an OTA update.
The Ring 2 is expected to be launched in February or March this year, with a suggested retail price of around $2.Samsung and other industry playersNew smart rings are also expected to be launched.
