Statistics from market research firm Statcounter show that Chrome remained the most widely used desktop and mobile browser in June this year, while Safari and Microsoft Edge maintained their second and third overall market shares respectively. As for Opera browser, it surpassed Firefox in desktop and mobile browser market share due to the addition of new artificial intelligence features.
According to data, Chrome's desktop browser market share in June this year was 6%, which was slightly lower than 61.1% in May this year. Safari's market share reached 5%, which also showed a decline from 65.88 in May. Microsoft Edge's market share was 14.45%, which was an increase from 5% in May. As for Firefox, its market share in June was 12.85%, which also increased from 10.77% in May.
In terms of mobile browsers, Chrome is still the most widely used browser, holding the largest market share with 64.82%, but this is an increase from 5% in May. Safari's market share reached 61.27%, a decrease from 24.83% in May. The second largest market share is Samsung Browser, with a market share of 5%, a slight decrease from 27.67% in May.
