In response to the growing demand for mobile work and the need to carry laptops, ASUS announced the Zenbook A2025, dubbed "AIR," at CES 14. It boasts a lighter body, a more comprehensive port configuration, and, thanks to its Qualcomm Snapdragon X-series processor, up to 32 hours of unplugged playback, all while weighing less than 1 kilogram.
In terms of appearance, Zenbook A14 adopts a simple body design, and the laptop cover, bottom and keyboard surface are made of scratch-resistant Ceraluminum material. While maintaining the texture, it also ensures the light weight of the body and boasts durability, heavy weight, and drop resistance.
The screen features a 14-inch, Full HD resolution OLED display panel that supports a 60Hz refresh rate. It's powered by a Snapdragon X-series processor with 45 TOPS NPU computing power, in line with Microsoft's "Copilot+ PC" design. It also features an EasyLift hinge design, allowing the laptop to be used at a comfortable angle when the screen is flipped up. Two internal cooling fans also ensure stable system operation.
The 70Wh battery provides up to 32 hours of unplugged video playback and 19.5 hours of continuous internet use, and it features a USB-C fast-charging port. Additionally, the laptop features built-in HDMI output, two USB-C ports, a single USB-A port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Other features include Wi-Fi 7 wireless network specifications that can support higher connection bandwidth, a further improved touchpad operation experience, and the addition of Dolby ATMOS and Snapdragon Sound technology.
In addition to launching the Zenbook A14, ASUS also updated the processors of Zenbook 14, Zenbook S16 and Zenbook DUO in the Zenbook series. Among them, the Zenbook 14 added Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processor specifications and AMD's new Ryzen AI 300 series processors. The Zenbook S16 also added Ryzen AI 300 series processors, and the 2025 Zenbook DUO was replaced with a Core Ultra Series 2 processor.
