The Elec reportsRefers toSamsung plans to launch a three-screen design for its foldable phone this year, which will also increase the number of foldable phones to be updated this year to four.

Samsung's introduction of a triple-screen, foldable phone suggests it's poised to challenge Huawei's previously released Mate XT. Previous market rumors suggested the design of the Huawei Mate XT was actually developed by former Samsung employees who joined Huawei, suggesting Samsung might have a more complete design.
Samsung's foldable phone will also feature a dual-hinge design, allowing the screen to unfold to a 10-inch display. Whether the design will differ from Huawei's Mate XT remains unconfirmed. A release is expected at the Galaxy Unpacked event in the second half of this year, with production capacity estimated to be approximately 20 units this year.
In addition to the new foldable screen phone, Samsung is also expected to update the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, and the rumored Galaxy Z Flip FE.
