Huawei unveiled the Mate X7 foldable flagship phone, only 4.5mm thick and IP59 waterproof, and simultaneously launched the MatePad Edge 2-in-1 tablet/laptop.
The Kirin 9030 Pro processor powers the Mate X7, while the MatePad Edge features the "PC-level" Kirin X90 processor, enabling seamless integration between tablet and computer modes.
In addition to announcing the Mate 80 series phones, Huawei also unveiled two major new products: the next-generation large-size dual-folding flagship phone, the Mate X7, and the MatePad Edge, which aims to redefine 2-in-1 devices. The Mate X7 features a Kirin 9030 Pro processor and an ultra-thin 4.5mm profile. The Mate X7 represents another breakthrough in design. When unfolded, the body is only 4.5mm thick (9.5mm when folded), and the weight is controlled at 236 grams. The camera module has been redesigned with a racetrack shape to enhance its recognizability. Core specifications include Huawei's most powerful Kirin 9030 processor to date, with up to 20GB of RAM. The screen is an 8-inch (2416 x 2210) inner screen and a 6.48-inch (2444 x 1080) outer screen, both using LTPO OLED display panels supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, with peak brightness reaching 2500 and 3000 Hz respectively...
