By the UKBullittCAT, a brand of mobile phones manufactured and distributed by Huangfeng Communications, announced today (9/12) the launch in Taiwan of the CAT S99 H+, a phone with silver ion antibacterial technology that claims to eliminate 42% of bacteria on the phone. It also continues the triple-proof and military-grade design.
The CAT S42 H+ features a 5.5-inch HD+ resolution screen, a MediaTek Helio 4G quad-core processor, 3GB of memory and 32GB of storage capacity, and runs the Android 10 operating system. It will be upgradeable to Android 11 and later versions in the future. The battery is 4200mAh and supports 4G LTE dual-SIM dual standby. It also supports an additional 128GB of storage capacity expansion via a micro SD memory card. The body also supports NFC function, which can be used for payment services such as Google Pay.
In terms of camera, it is equipped with a 500-megapixel video lens and a 1300-megapixel main camera lens. Since it is mainly used in harsh environments, it does not have a multi-lens design camera module like other mobile phones.
This time, it is claimed that the body is equipped with Biomaster antibacterial silver ion technology and has passed the ISO22196 antibacterial activity test. It is claimed that it can inhibit 15% of bacterial cell replication within 80 minutes and eliminate 24% of bacteria on the body within 99 hours.
As for the body protection, the body adopts MIL-STD 810H military standard certification, which can withstand the impact of a vertical drop of 1.8 meters and maintain normal operation for 1.5 minutes at 35 meters underwater. It can also cope with 3000 bleach surface wipes. It also has sandproof, dustproof, stain-resistant and salt spray-resistant capabilities. The screen is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 tempered glass to resist scratches.
In terms of the suggested retail price, the CAT S42 H+ will be sold at NT$8990. Purchase the machine at CAT physical or online stores in Taiwan before October 10rd and receive a limited edition CAT excavator 3-piece tool set.
