At the E3 online press conference, Capcom released a new trailer for "Great Ace Attorney 1 & 2 - The Adventure and Awakening of Ryunosuke Naruhodō -". In addition to showing actual gameplay footage, it also explained the newly added game systems "Collaborative Reasoning" and "Jury Combat".
"Great Ace Attorney 1 & 2 - The Adventure and Awakening of Naruhodō Ryuunosuke -" is a compilation of the story content of "Great Ace Attorney - The Adventure of Naruhodō Ryuunosuke -" and "Great Ace Attorney 3 - The Awakening of Naruhodō Ryuunosuke -" previously released on Nintendo 2DS, iOS and Android platforms, and is created in an HD quality upgrade format. It will be released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 7 and PC platforms on July 29th.
The story revolves around Naruhodō Ryuichi, the ancestor of the protagonist of the "Ace Attorney" series, who is also a lawyer. It is set in Japan in the late 19th century and the Meiji era in London, England, and allows players to experience 10 cases and 8 short stories, and defend themselves in the form of court battles.
The main announcement this time is the addition of two new game modes: "Joint Reasoning" and "Jury Battle". The former will cooperate with Phoenix Wright's legal assistant Susazu and detective Herlock to conduct reasoning, and correct the inference through investigation results and other content. The latter will persuade six jurors in court and find the contradictions in the jurors' arguments for guilty verdicts. Players must try to persuade the jurors so that the persuasion progress displayed on the scale in the system tends to the result of not guilty.
