Targeting professional photographers, video creators, and content producers, Canon is holding the "Canon PRO EXPO" in Taipei from October 31 to November 1. With the theme "Designing You Always," the event will feature three immersive experience zones and numerous professional lectures, allowing participants to experience firsthand Canon's latest developments in imaging technology and equipment.
The Canon PRO EXPO is an exhibition for CPS members and professional creators. The exhibition focuses on Canon's promotion and hands-on experience of imaging technology applications, and features photography lectures by professional instructors to connect with more Canon product users. Because it is for members and professional creators, the event is by appointment only and requires registered participants; therefore, it is not open to the public. This is primarily to ensure a better experience for participants.
Three immersive experience zones and highlight activities
This expo features three experience zones, each corresponding to professional fields such as still photography, image output, and video recording. It also combines scenario-based scenarios with AI technology applications to showcase the performance of Canon devices in various creative situations.
• AI Imaging Lab (ICB Booth)
This area, conceived as a "technology lab," combines professional photography equipment with AI dynamic performance technology, and creates a shooting environment with flowing light and shadow through the dynamic performance of cheerleaders. Participants can experience firsthand how to capture explosive and rhythmic moments using Canon equipment, emphasizing how technology can assist in the combination of image creation and artistic expression.
• Animation Studios (ISB Booth)
This area creates an immersive news studio setting, where professional anchors and on-site staff work together to allow participants to operate Canon Cinema EOS series professional photography equipment, experience professional recording processes such as dynamic composition and scene transitions, and challenge themselves to complete shooting tasks in a near-real-world environment.
• Light and Shadow Printing Workshop (PSD and BIS booths)
This area focuses on Canon's image output technology, showcasing large-format prints and offering the experience of "instantly printing high-quality photos after shooting on location." Participants can experience firsthand the detail rendering capabilities of Canon's output devices, leave their own unique mark on the "Light and Shadow Printing Hall," and learn how Canon transforms digital images into physical art.
The event showcased the differences in color performance between the new generation PRO-310 10-color ink and PRO-200S 8-color ink, emphasizing its ability to deliver rich blacks with high black density while also enhancing the color accuracy of output images.
Film Talk Lecture Hall
Four professional lectures and dialogues are planned daily during the event, from 10:00 AM to 5:45 PM. The content will cover a variety of photography fields and provide opportunities for in-depth conversations and Q&A sessions with photography masters, which is very attractive to photography enthusiasts who want to improve their skills and concepts.
The event attracted many photography enthusiasts, including a significant number of bird photographers, who shared their techniques and ideas for shooting different birds.
