Canon officially announced the launch in Taiwan.The all-new EOS R6 Mark III full-frame mirrorless cameraWith "Boundless Capture, Limitless Creativity" as the main theme of this communication, the company emphasized the significant upgrades in both still photography and video recording capabilities. To echo the new camera's "dual-purpose" feature, Canon specially invited Chen Kuan-Yu, the champion pitcher of the top 12, to give a personal account, comparing the new camera to a "two-way player" on the baseball field, capable of handling all aspects of speed, accuracy, and control.
Upgraded to 3250 megapixels, with a continuous shooting speed of 40fps.
In terms of still photography, the EOS R6 Mark III is equipped with a newly developed 3250-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor, which has been comprehensively improved in resolution compared to its predecessor, making it more suitable for portrait, landscape and cropped long-distance shooting.
To capture high-speed moments, the new camera supports ultra-high-speed continuous shooting at up to approximately 40fps in electronic shutter mode, and features a "pre-shoot" function that records images 0.5 seconds (approximately 20 shots) before the shutter is pressed, significantly improving the success rate of shooting. In terms of stabilization, the camera has built-in 5-axis image stabilization, which, when used with compatible lenses, can achieve up to 8.5 stops of image stabilization, ensuring image clarity when shooting handheld.
For the first time, 7K Open Gate video format has been introduced, bringing the recording specifications up to par with Cinema EOS.
To meet the needs of video recording, the EOS R6 Mark III became Canon's first mirrorless EOS camera to incorporate the Open Gate image format.

AI focusing evolves again: Prioritizes registered individuals.
In terms of the focusing system, it is equipped with Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, with a focus area coverage of 100%. Through deep learning technology, in addition to the existing detection of people, animals and vehicles, it also adds a "register people first" function, similar to flagship models. Users can pre-register up to 10 specific faces, and even if there are multiple people in the picture, the camera can prioritize locking onto the main subject for focus tracking.
In addition, for video recording focus, the new camera adds "subject switching sensitivity" and "post-focus tracking" options, allowing creators to more intuitively control the pace of focus shifting.

The Canon EOS R6 Mark III officially went on sale in Taiwan on December 10th, with the initial offering including the body only and two lens options. Customers who purchase and apply for approval before January 31, 2026, will receive a free original battery as a first-purchase gift.
