Bullit Group and Motorola have not yet disclosed the specific details of their cooperation, but the first mobile phone product from their collaboration is expected to be unveiled later in the first quarter of 2021.
Prior to this, Bullit Group had obtained brand authorizations from CAT, Kodak, and Land Rover. Using the CAT brand, it created mobile phones with drop-resistant, dust-proof, and waterproof designs for use in extreme working environments. Using the Land Rover brand, it created mobile phones with shock-resistant and moisture-resistant features for outdoor sports and travel.
As for mobile phones developed under the Kodak brand, they focus on the photography experience, echoing the brand's legacy in cameras and film. The collaboration with Motorola is likely to leverage the Defy brand to create rugged phones tailored to specific needs.
