As the global micro-mobility market enters an era of fierce competition, NAVEE officially debuted at the 2026 Taipei International Cycle Show, showcasing seven new models covering urban commuting, folding storage, and all-terrain exploration. Among them, the first flagship electric bicycle, the "SP01," boasts a riding speed of up to 45 kilometers per hour and offers an ultra-long range of up to 260 kilometers. At the exhibition, Tian Kuan, Global Head of NAVEE E-bike, shared in-depth information about the new vehicles' technological layout in an interview. NAVEE's strategic partner, Lovandi Technology, also showcased its new "Smart Micro Gearbox" technology, which breaks the monopoly in overseas markets.
Flagship model SP01: Emphasizing "speed, endurance, and drought resistance," combined with motorcycle-grade safety features.
Tian Kuan pointed out that the core product showcased at the event, the SP01, is a high-speed electric bicycle positioned as a "fast and durable vehicle." It boasts a top speed of 45 kilometers per hour and a long range of 260 kilometers, requiring charging approximately every two to three weeks. The bicycle also features 8A gallium nitride fast charging technology, fully charging the battery in just 4 hours.
To meet the demands of such high-speed riding, the SP01's frame structure has been significantly reinforced. The entire bike features a triangular frame constructed entirely of aluminum alloy, paired with a long-travel suspension fork, allowing for a total load capacity exceeding 250 kg. Furthermore, the braking system utilizes a heavy-duty braking system from German Magura motorcycles to ensure braking safety at high speeds.
In terms of technological experience, the SP01 incorporates a number of smart features. The dashboard directly integrates Apple CarPlay, the rear is equipped with a radar ranging system, and the high-speed motor module even has built-in turn signals, providing riders with a safer and more intuitive riding experience.
Partnering with Lovandy Technology, introducing a brand-new integrated intelligent transmission module
Another highlight of the SP01's transmission system is the use of belt drive combined with an automatic continuously variable transmission (CVT) system, which comes from NAVEE's strategic partner, Lovandi Technology.
Lofandi Technology, a provider of intelligent short-range mobility solutions, is currently the only supplier in China with mass production capabilities for its core products, the "Intelligent Micro-gearbox" and "Intelligent Anti-lock Braking System" (ABS), successfully breaking the long-standing monopoly of overseas companies and achieving global mass production. Lofandi has not only been awarded the titles of "Little Giant" (a national-level specialized and innovative enterprise) and "National High-tech Enterprise" in China, but has also applied for over 400 patents globally (including over 150 invention patents). Its technology has been adopted by brands such as Hello Bike, Uber, Didi, McLaren, XDS, and Giant.
In this collaboration, Lovantech provided NAVEE with a brand-new fully electronic control module that perfectly integrates the "Inner Gear Hub" and the "Motor." This system enables fully automatic gear shifting; riders do not need to manually switch gears, as the system automatically adjusts the gear ratio based on pedaling frequency and force. Tian Kuan stated that even on steep slopes exceeding 12 degrees, this system allows riders to climb hills with ease.
Furthermore, Lofandi Technology emphasizes its extremely high market share in technology adoption within the shared bicycle sector. Its smart locks feature a mechanical anti-lock design, ensuring that even if the electronic system malfunctions, the wheels will not jam, thus providing complete mechanical protection for riders. Currently, Lofandi is in a phase of rapid development and has received investment from numerous well-known entrepreneurs and investment institutions, including Xiang Wenbo, Chairman of Sany Group, Dachen Capital, and Guotai Haitong.
Meets diverse needs: Lightweight folding bikes and flat-bar road bikes debut simultaneously.
In addition to the flagship SP01, NAVEE also offers a variety of models for different usage scenarios. For example, the folding E-bike, designed for the "4+2" car and bicycle travel scenario, is made entirely of magnesium alloy, weighs only about 17 kilograms, and provides a range of 40 to 50 kilometers. In order to reduce wind resistance and maintain a minimalist appearance, this folding model eliminates the traditional dashboard and instead allows users to view vehicle information entirely through a dedicated mobile app.
For daily commuting, NAVEE also offers flat-bar road commuter bikes with 21700 batteries, as well as gravel bikes that fall between traditional road bikes and mountain bikes, providing riders with more flexible riding options on city roads and unpaved surfaces.
Looking towards the global market, we are actively seeking local assembly and supply chain cooperation in Taiwan.
Regarding future market strategies, Tien Kuan views the 2026 Taipei International Cycle Show as a crucial starting point for NAVEE's expansion into the global market. The brand plans to participate in professional trade shows in Germany and the United States in April this year, and then showcase its diverse intelligent mobility solutions to the world in Munich in June.
Regarding the Taiwan market, Tian Kuan frankly stated that due to Taiwan's strict regulations limiting electric-assisted bicycles to a speed of 25 kilometers per hour, NAVEE is currently actively seeking local partners in Taiwan. To better meet local market demands and regulatory requirements, NAVEE will even assess the possibility of localized assembly in Taiwan. They also plan to deepen cooperation with high-quality bicycle component suppliers in Taiwan, laying a solid foundation for their global expansion into the high-end e-bike market.
