Starting with Season 8, five new heroes will be added, including D.Va, Echo, Genji, Lucio, and Mei. Players will also enjoy leaderboard resets and a new replay feature. Additionally, the newly added cooperative gameplay mode, "Hero Mastery: Defense," requires three players to work together in a unique tower defense mode and continuously defeat an endless stream of enemy robots.
Starting from Season 9, the PvP competitive system will be adjusted to improve the overall gaming experience and provide greater transparency, while also allowing players to obtain new jade weapons.
Additionally, among the newly announced heroes, the offensive hero "Dauntless" will become the 40th hero. Equipped with a powerful drill to repel opponents and burrow underground to avoid enemy attacks, he will prove his prowess among the heroes. The 41st hero, "Space Ranger," is expected to debut in Season 12 as a support hero.
