Mike Ybarra said that Blizzard Entertainment's new executive producer April McKee has begun planning the details of the event and is expected to hold the BlizzCon event again in 2023.
Prior to this, due to the impact of the new coronavirus epidemic, Blizzard Entertainment canceled the 2020 and 2021 BlizzCon events, and replaced them with online BlizzConline events. Last year, due to issues such as sexual harassment and fraternity culture within the company, Blizzard Entertainment subsequently confirmedCancelAll BlizzCon-related activities will be postponed, but it will be emphasized that the activities will be held in a safe, friendly, and diverse and inclusive manner, and that communication with players will continue.
