The updated partnership agreement confirms that games including World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Warcraft III, Overwatch, Diablo, and StarCraft will be playable again in the Chinese market. However, Blizzard Entertainment and NetEase Games are still finalizing their return plans and expect to announce specific details at a later date.
With the public announcement of re-cooperation, the official website of "World of Warcraft" China has been put back online, and it has been announced that the "World of Warcraft" China server will return, but it will still take some time to prepare for the server to be opened. At the same time, a new server room must be rebuilt and various data must be restored.
The official announcement also stated that Blizzard Entertainment's games will be released sequentially, with the first returning game expected to debut this summer. When the servers are up and running, account data will be fully preserved. The company will also provide opportunities to re-access any activities and benefits that were previously suspended. Commemorative benefits will also be prepared, along with various esports tournaments.
