During the Gamescom 2025 opening night live broadcast, game industry players including Game Science, CAPCOM, Wargaming.net, Bethesda, KOEITECMO Games Team NINJA, Warner Bros. Games, NCSOFT, Blizzard Entertainment, KONAMI, Sucker Punch Productions, Activision, and others announced many upcoming new games, including the new Black Myth series "Black Myth: Zhong Kui", "Call of Duty: Black Ops 7", "Resident Evil 9: Requiem", "Ghost of Yoteiyama", and other games all released the latest promotional videos.
Game Science announced the release of "Black Myth: Zhong Kui," the second installment in the "Black Myth" series. Drawing inspiration from the ancient Chinese mythology and folklore of the character Zhong Kui, it continues the single-player action role-playing gameplay of "Black Myth: Wukong." While the game is still in early development, it's expected to be released on PC and consoles.
Activision Blizzard's previously announced new entry in the Call of Duty first-person shooter series, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, has been confirmed to launch on November 11th. During the Gamescom 14 Opening Night Live, a gameplay trailer and 2025-minute detailed introduction were released. Capcom also recently unveiled Resident Evil 17: Requiem, showcasing its latest gameplay demo during the Gamescom 9 Opening Night Live. A story trailer for Silent Hill F, co-produced by KONAMI and Niba Entertainment, was released.
As for the PlayStation 10 action-adventure game "Yoteishan Battle Ghost", which is scheduled to be officially launched on October 2, in addition to the release of the latest promotional video "Song of Vengeance", it was also announced that the cooperative multiplayer mode "Legends" will be added. It is expected to be released in 5 as a free download expansion. It features fantasy and supernatural scenes, which are in sharp contrast to the real world of "Yoteishan Battle Ghost". It includes two-player story missions and four-player survival mode. Players will play one of four character professions and challenge demons formed by the giantization of the Yoteishan Gang, as well as various new enemies fighting alongside these demons.
Wargaming.net, the developer of the World of Tanks and World of Warships series, unveiled its new battle royale game, World of Tanks: HEAT, which will allow players to engage in fast-paced combat across a range of experimental tanks. Wargaming.net also released a trailer for World of Tanks 2.0, scheduled to launch on September 9st. This update is the largest in World of Tanks history, bringing a host of exciting new experiences and content to players.
In addition, the TV series of the same name, which is adapted from Bethesda's game "Fallout", announced the content and trailer of the second season at the Gamescom 2025 opening night live broadcast, and is expected to be broadcast on the Prime Video service platform on December 12 this year.
