Trend Micro announced a major strategic transformation today (March 24): its Cybersecurity Business Group has been officially renamed "TrendAI". This is not only a brand identity update, but also represents that this long-standing cybersecurity company is fully shifting to an AI-centric computing architecture.
As enterprise operating models shift from traditional digitalization to autonomous systems and data-driven approaches, TrendAI declares that it will extend the dimensions of cybersecurity protection from infrastructure to "AI decision-making and governance," ensuring that while enterprises enjoy the efficiency brought by AI agents, they can also simultaneously possess the responsiveness and resilience of machines.
