Apple recently blocked the iMessage feature that allows Android devices to send and receive iMessages on the grounds of security.Third-party service Beeper MiniThe developer Beeper announced earlier that the new version will be updated and access permission verification will be completed through Mac devices to reduce the chance of the service being blocked by Apple again.
Beeper said that the previous practice was to provide access verification through their own Mac devices, and users only needed to register an Apple ID to use it. However, this approach might cause Apple to target them because of a large number of access verifications on a single Mac device. Therefore, the verification process was subsequently transferred to the user to disperse the risk of the service being blocked again.
In the next update, Beeper Mini service users must install the Beeper Cloud Mac App on their Mac devices and complete access permission verification through this Mac device to make the Beeper Mini service more reliable in subsequent connections.
Users must re-verify access permissions at regular intervals, so in order to use the Beeper Mini service, it is necessary to prepare an additional Mac device. This will obviously be more troublesome than before and may cause Beeper Mini to lose a lot of users.
Beeper has now open-sourced the bridge tool for connecting to the iMessage service and the Mac program code that can generate registration data, and shared them through the Github platform, hoping that more developers will be able to use them to create more application services that can access iMessage.
