Bloomberg News claimsApple has reorganized its management team and will appoint Mike Rockwell, head of Vision Pro, to take over the Siri development project in order to revive the company’s performance due to technical problems.AI features with delayed launch schedules.
The artificial intelligence technology behind the "Apple Intelligence" service was originally managed by John Giannandrea, Apple's senior vice president who was poached from Google. However, due to technical problems, it has not been able to successfully launch a new and more interactive version of Siri. Apple has even failed to deliver on its advertised artificial intelligence technology features, and is facing accusations in the United States that the iPhone 16 series and iOS 18 features have false advertising.
Perhaps to solve this problem, Apple has now had Mike Rockwell, the original head of Vision Pro, take over the Siri function development business, and he will report directly to Craig Federighi, the head of software engineering. John Giannandrea will no longer be involved in Siri-related development work, but will continue to be responsible for Apple's internal artificial intelligence technology research and development.
Related reports indicate that the next Siri development project will be taken over by Mike Rockwell, which may mean that Apple's next artificial intelligence technology applications will be more highly integrated with hardware products.
