At the event, the artificial intelligence operating through "Wenxin" was demonstrated to be able to create multiple car advertisements in a short period of time using simple text descriptions. It can also quickly solve complex geometry problems or update and iterate the plot of short stories.
In further explanation, Baidu stated that its "Wenxin" app, now updated to version 4.0, will incorporate an improved search experience similar to Google's. This will integrate and summarize a wider range of online information to provide answers, allowing users to access the latest and most accurate information. Furthermore, "Wenxin" will operate in a multimodal manner, enabling more complex searches through an interactive chat interface and providing more accurate answers based on the results of numerous user interactions.
In terms of security, the new version of "Wenxin" also adopts a design similar to the ChatGPT Enterprise Edition, training user personal information in an isolated form, so there is no risk of personal information being accessed by others. In addition, it can also correspond to academic research, abstract or summarize key content, or create documents, automatically generate presentation content and other functions, and can also search for information through text or voice commands.
Baidu has already integrated automatically generated artificial intelligence into its Baidu Maps, Navigation, Ride-hailing and Hotel Reservation services. It can also help individuals and businesses create API content through Baidu Qianfan Basic Model Platform.
