Last year, it announced the launch of its ERNIE large-scale natural language model, andERNIE Bot, an artificial intelligence chatbotLater, Baidu announced the launch of DuerOS X, its first operating system designed with native integration of artificial intelligence, at the Create 2024 Baidu AI Developer Conference held earlier in Shenzhen, China.
Baidu's Xiaodu Technology stated that DuerOS X is designed based on the Wenxin large-scale natural language model, natively integrating multimodal perception and anthropomorphic presentation applications to enhance the human-computer interaction experience on devices, allowing Xiaodu Technology's hardware products to communicate naturally with people.
Compared to DuerOS, launched in 2017, Xiaodu Technology emphasizes that this operating system, used for hardware devices such as the Xiaodu smart speaker, has been updated to version 7.0. Furthermore, the newly launched DuerOS X natively integrates numerous AI application functions and incorporates the "Wenxin Yiyan" AI chatbot technology. Through deep learning and self-learning, its language comprehension capabilities can reach a 95% satisfaction rate.
Xiaodu Technology stated that DuerOS X can currently accurately recognize each word and sentence, quickly understand the content, and respond quickly and correctly. It can also understand and respond to sentences before and after. By combining various audio and video services, tool services, health applications, information queries, and connecting to more than 5200 skills, users can have a more immersive interactive experience.
This operating system will also be applied to Baidu's hardware devices in the future, and will continue to accumulate more learning experience through interaction with people.
