9.06-inch OLED screen with a 165Hz variable refresh rate
The AYANEO Next II continues the Next series' tradition of pursuing excellence, featuring a large 9.06-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1504 and support for a variable refresh rate (VRR) of 60Hz to 165Hz.
In terms of core specifications, it features an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor and an impressive 115Wh high-capacity battery. Although official battery life figures have not yet been released, considering the high-end screen and processor specifications, achieving all-day battery life in high-performance mode will likely be challenging.
Hall effect joysticks and dual touchpads, inheriting the flagship design of Kun.
To match its robust internal specifications, the control interface is also top-notch. The Next II is equipped with a Hall effect joystick and triggers to eliminate dead zones and drift issues.
Furthermore, drawing inspiration from the design of the previous high-end AYANEO Kun, the Next II also features dual smart touchpads, supporting gesture control and button mapping for easier operation of Windows systems or strategy games. The back of the device features four rear buttons, plus four additional customizable buttons, providing a high degree of operational flexibility.
The price may approach $2000
AYANEO has not yet announced specific launch information and pricing for the Next II. However, considering that the top-of-the-line version of the previous flagship AYANEO Kun was priced at US$1700, the pricing strategy for the Next II is expected to be more aggressive, possibly even approaching the US$2000 range (approximately NT$65000), clearly targeting hardcore gamers with unlimited budgets.
