After previously taking over the NUC product line from Intel and launching a number of NUC models, ASUS updated a number of NUC products at CES 2025 and also launched a number of small-sized PC models.
Among them, the upgraded NUC 14 Pro AI+ adds a color E-Ink display panel on the top cover to correspond to customized display screens, while the body maintains a lightweight design. It uses an Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processor codenamed "Lunar Lake", an Arc GPU design, LPDDR5X memory and an M.2 2280 NVMe SSD, and is equipped with Thunderbolt 4 and other connection ports, which can correspond to up to three sets of 3K display outputs.
The NUC 15 Pro and NUC 15 Pro+, launched simultaneously this time, are equipped with Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors codenamed "Arrow Lake", boasting a 19% performance improvement, 99 TOPS of artificial intelligence computing power, and can output to up to four 4K displays simultaneously. They are more compliant with Intel vPro design and have passed the US military standard MIL-STD 810H test certification, allowing for tool-free replacement and repair of parts. As for the NUC 15 Pro+, it has an additional extremely silent cooling system to ensure system stability and quiet performance during operation.
In addition, ASUS has also used AMD's new Ryzen processor to create a mini PC device ExpertCenter PN54, and is equipped with up to 64GB 5600MHz DDR5 memory and supports M.2 2280 NVMe SSD. It can also output up to four 4K displays simultaneously. The body is also equipped with an independent Copilot button, which allows users to easily turn on the Microsoft Copilot application function at any time, and can quickly replace components or repair them without tools.
Because the ExpertCenter PN54 is powered by an AMD processor, even though it's designed as a mini PC, it doesn't carry the NUC name. (Currently, NUC-branded models are primarily based on Intel processors.)
