ASUS today (December 12th) announced the launch of the VivoWatch 14 AERO, the world's first health wristband that uses fingertip pulse index measurement, allowing users to more easily measure their personal health data at any time. It is now available for sale in Taiwan with a suggested retail price of NT$5.
According to the instructions, VivoWatch 5 AERO not only has a medical-grade three-electrode single-lead ECG electrical sensor element and a dual-channel PPG optical sensor element, but also adds a "pulse index" measurement function to assess health status, thereby further ensuring the reliability of VivoWatch 5 AERO's measured health data.
Furthermore, the VivoWatch 5 AERO's new ECG software has received Medical Device Software Certification from the Taiwan Ministry of Health and Welfare, and will be available for future updates to other VivoWatch models that also support ECG. To address the potential for blood oxygen levels to fluctuate during the pandemic, the VivoWatch 5 AERO now features a fingertip blood oxygen measurement function, allowing users to quickly measure relevant data and confirm heart rate, stress level, sleep quality, and more.
The bracelet itself weighs only 30 grams, has a battery life of up to 7 days, supports 5ATM daily waterproofing, uses a medical-grade silicone bracelet strap and a magnetic charging design, and can use the built-in GPS positioning function to correspond to precise location measurement and movement trajectory recording function. It supports recording running speed, distance, travel path and pace running function. Sports data supports measuring jogging, swimming, walking, yoga and other items.
ASUS said that VivoWatch 5 AERO uses XNUMX% independently developed technology, manufactured in Taiwan, and is designed to meet the needs of life in the post-epidemic era, allowing users to more conveniently check their personal physical condition at any time.
VivoWatch 5 AERO is now available for sale through Yahoo! Shopping Mall, PChome online shopping, momo shopping network, and ASUS mobile phone stores across Taiwan.
