ASUS earlier announced the launch of its new smartwatch, VivoWatch 6, which boasts medical software functions certified by the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA). Through the dual sensing elements configured on the watch body and back, it can accurately measure blood pressure and electrocardiogram, analyze body composition, and use sleep tracking, relaxation index, and physical and mental focus analysis data to manage daily emotions.
VivoWatch 6採用1.39吋、圓形設計的顯示螢幕,可對應7-12天的電池續航時間,並且支援L1+L5雙頻GPS天線系統,即使不與手機連線也能獨立運作。
The health data measurement function supports blood oxygen, heart rate, body temperature, exercise data, step count and calorie consumption. It can also accurately measure blood pressure and electrocardiogram, and analyze body composition such as body fat, water, skeletal muscle, and basal metabolic rate. It can also record sleep quality through heart rate, body temperature, and number of tossing and turning. It can also record relaxation index and physical and mental balance. By lightly pressing the multiple sensors on the side of the watch with your fingertips, you can quickly analyze your physical condition.
In addition to measuring physical data, VivoWatch 6 can also record the current location's temperature, rainfall probability, air quality, and UV intensity, and provide users with appropriate advice. Physical data status can also be viewed through the ASUS HealthConnect App, which has a new interface design based on international medical service standards.
ASUS emphasizes that the VivoWatch 6 is 100% in-house designed and developed, leveraging nearly a decade of experience. It emphasizes its ability to ensure user health through mobile, digital, and personalized means. The watch weighs only 10 grams, integrates iPASS mobile payment functionality, and boasts a battery life of approximately 60 days.
VivoWatch 6 will be launched in the Taiwan market starting today, with a suggested retail price of NT$13990.
