Intel recently confirmedWill stop launching its own designed NUC small PC products, but will still launch related products with partners in the future. Earlier, it announced that it had reached an agreement with ASUS and would continue to promote small system products designed with Intel NUC.
Under this agreement, ASUS will continue to manufacture and sell small form factor systems based on Intel's 10th to 13th generation NUC designs, while also providing ongoing technical support. ASUS will also continue to design and develop future products.
ASUS will also establish a new NUC business unit, which will be mainly responsible for system products designed with Intel NUC and subsequent technical support.
Intel recently announced that it will terminate the development of its NUC product business, but did not provide a specific reason for the termination. This may be related to its current efforts to streamline non-essential businesses, thereby focusing more development resources on processor product design and production.
In addition to ASUS continuing to produce NUC design products, brands including Dell, HP, Lenovo, ECS and others will also continue to launch corresponding products based on the Intel NUC design.
