After previously announcing its collaboration with Kojima Productions, ASUS officially revealed the details of the partnership at CES 2026. The legendary art director of Kojima Productions, Yoji Shinkawa, personally designed the ROG Flow Z13-KJP, which is based on the ROG Flow Z13 and incorporates design elements of Kojima Productions' iconic character "Ludens". The set includes a limited edition of the ROG Flow Z13-KJP and a complete set of peripherals.
According to ASUS, this collaboration was a joint effort between the two companies, and the ROG Flow Z13-KJP will be the first product launched, with further collaborations expected in the future. This is not just a simple rebranding collaboration; from the bold changes in hardware specifications to the completeness of peripheral accessories, it demonstrates ROG's ambition to penetrate the souls of core gamers and creators.
The "Ludens" aesthetic from Yoji Shinkawa
The ROG Flow Z13-KJP's design is inspired by the armor of Kojima Productions' iconic character, "Ludens." The chassis is made of real carbon fiber, which is quite rare in consumer electronics, reducing weight and providing a unique woven texture.
In terms of details, the back of the device features a unique laser-etched ventilation design, and the key font on the keyboard cover has also been redesigned, echoing Kojima Productions' sci-fi military style. It also comes with a custom carrying case, gift box packaging, and a customized Armoury Crate software theme, giving fans a sense of ritual from unboxing to powering on. The box also includes a redemption code for the Windows PC version of *Death Stranding 2: On the Beach*.
Hardware Specifications Go Wild: 128GB Memory Challenges the Future
Unlike the standard Flow Z13, which uses an Intel processor and an NVIDIA discrete graphics card, this KJP co-branded edition makes a very bold specification adjustment, replacing it with an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, integrating a Radeon 8060S graphics design and an NPU, with a computing power of up to 50 TOPS.
To meet the growing demands for AI-generated computations (such as image generation and LLM execution) and high-resolution game textures, this tablet features up to 128GB of ultra-fast Unified Memory (LPDDR5X-8000).
ASUS claims that this configuration is sufficient for users to run large language models with up to 700 billion parameters locally, meaning that the Z13-KJP is not only a gaming console, but also a portable AI computing workstation.
