ASUS, a long-time player in the creator laptop market, announced a collaboration with action camera giant GoPro at CES 2026 to launch the ProArt GoPro Edition (HN7306EAC), a 13-inch convertible laptop. This product goes beyond a mere design collaboration; it's a comprehensive customization tailored to the usage habits of outdoor creators and extreme sports photographers, encompassing hardware design, software integration, and peripheral accessories.
The camera body is full of GoPro elements, featuring a Nano Black anti-fouling coating.
In terms of design, the ProArt GoPro Edition adopts the "Durable & Strong Lines" design language. The top cover (part A) uses a precision CNC drilling process to create vertical lines that echo the heat dissipation fins of GoPro cameras, and is decorated with the classic GoPro Blue logo at the corners.
To adapt to harsh outdoor environments, the body uses a Nano Black coating with Smudge-Free Tech technology, emphasizing water resistance, fingerprint resistance, and stain resistance. The water droplet angle is greater than 90 degrees, ensuring that it still maintains a sleek and sophisticated look when used outdoors.
The keyboard area is equally thoughtfully designed, with GoPro blue accents below the Enter and spacebar keys, and the indicator light for the DialPad virtual drawing knob is also a unique blue. Furthermore, the chassis has passed the MIL-STD 810H US military standard durability test, consistent with its "Be The Hero" hardcore positioning.
Powerful specifications: 128GB unified memory, effortlessly editing 8K 360 videos.
Despite its slim and lightweight design (15.8mm, 1.39kg), its core specifications are quite impressive.
The ProArt GoPro Edition is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor with 50 TOPS of NPU computing power, meeting Microsoft's Copilot+ PC definition. Most importantly, it features up to 128GB of LPDDR5X Unified Memory, making it ideal for content creation.
For creators who are used to shooting high-resolution (such as 5.3K, 8K) or 360-degree panoramic videos with GoPro, the ultra-large capacity unified memory will greatly improve the smoothness of previewing and rendering, solving the pain point of previous thin and light laptops that were prone to lag when processing high-volume materials.
Key specifications:
• screen:13.3-inch, 3K (2880 x 1800) Lumina OLED touchscreen with 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut and a peak brightness of 500 nits.
• store:Up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
• Port:2 x USB4 Type-C, 1 x USB 3.2 Type-A, 1 x HDMI 2.1, MicroSD card reader (UHS-II).
Software Ecosystem: F8 Transforms into a "GoPro Button," StoryCube Seamlessly Syncs to the Cloud
ASUS has put a lot of effort into software integration this time. The F8 key on the keyboard is designed as a dedicated GoPro hotkey. Pressing it for the first time quickly downloads GoPro Player, and afterwards, it can launch the software with one click for post-production and output of 360-degree videos.
In addition, ASUS's own StoryCube software is deeply integrated with GoPro Cloud. After logging into their account, users can directly browse and manage footage in the GoPro cloud on their computers, and even support AI-powered automatic categorization (such as skiing, surfing, cycling, etc.), greatly simplifying the file management process from shooting to editing.
It also comes bundled with a 12-month GoPro Premium+ subscription (worth approximately $99.99), a six-month CapCut subscription, and a three-month Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, essentially providing a complete creative suite with the purchase.
Accessories are equipment: Packaging boxes instantly transform into storage boxes
The accessories for this collaborative laptop also have an outdoor vibe. The included hard shell laptop sleeve is inspired by GoPro's storage box design and offers strong protection.
What's even more interesting is its eco-friendly packaging design. The cushioning foam inside the box is pre-cut, so after the user takes out the laptop, some of the foam can be removed, transforming the box directly into a dedicated Gear Storage Box for GoPro cameras and accessories. The included multi-purpose strap can be used as a carrying strap for the laptop bag or to secure the laptop to a suitcase handle, embodying the spirit of "just go" adventure.
