It was recently announced that the listing will be postponed until March 3.Assassin's Creed: Shadowbringers, Ubisoft announced earlier that pre-orders will be open from now on, and also released a trailer for the new version.
"Assassin's Creed: Shadowbringers" is developed by Ubisoft Quebec Studio, allowing players to travel through time and space to 16th century Japan to experience the intricate story between Naoie, the Iga female assassin proficient in ninjutsu, and Yasuke, a powerful samurai in historical legends.
Players will explore their personal stories, meet key historical figures, and forge their shared destiny as Japan journeys towards unification. A newly released story trailer offers a glimpse into this gripping story, revealing a land in turmoil, torn apart by war and threatened by external forces. Amidst this chaos, the ruthless ambition of the daimyo Oda Nobunaga will shape the fates of the two protagonists as they forge a new doctrine for Japan.
The game will be launched globally on March 3th and will be available on Ubisoft+, PlayStation 20, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, Mac models with Apple chips (download via the Mac App Store), and Windows PC platforms.
In addition, the Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and Collector's Edition of Assassin's Creed: Shadowbringers will all be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Mac platforms.
Both the Digital Deluxe Edition and the Collector's Edition include exclusive content and are now available for pre-order. The Digital Deluxe Edition will additionally include the "Red Dragon Double Pack" containing Naoe and Yasuke's equipment and weapons, as well as the "Red Dragon Hideout Pack" containing hideout appearances and "Mastery Points". The Collector's Edition adds additional physical content to the Digital Deluxe Edition, including a steelbook, a world map, Naoe and Yasuke figurines, a life-size Naoe katana hilt, a wall-mounted dogma scroll, a 76-page collector's art book, and two ink prints.
Players who pre-order any version of Assassin's Creed: Shadowbringers will receive the Awaji Claws expansion for free, which is expected to be released later this year. It will bring a new open world area and over 10 hours of additional gameplay, plus new skills, new equipment, new abilities and Nao's new weapon, the "Staff". Players will travel to the mysterious Awaji Island, where Nao and Yasuke will be relentlessly pursued by the "Bandit Faction", a dangerous new force threatening the area.
