Apple earlier announced its fiscal year 2025First quarter financial results, of which total net sales reached US$1243 billion, setting a record for Apple's highest single-quarter performance in history, an increase of 4% over the same period last year, with revenue reaching US$428.32 billion and net profit reaching US$363.30 billion.
In terms of regions, the United States remains the region with the highest sales revenue for Apple products, reaching US$526.48 billion, a significant increase over the same period last year. It is followed by Europe, with revenue reaching US$338.61 billion, also a year-on-year increase. Revenue in Greater China reached US$185.13 billion, a significant decrease compared to last year. This may be due to market competition with other Chinese brands of mobile phones, and the fact that the "Apple Intelligence" service is not yet available in the Chinese market, thereby reducing many incentives to purchase the phone.
In terms of product sales performance, the iPhone remains Apple's most popular product, with overall sales revenue of US$691.38 billion, a slight decline compared to the same period last year, which was related to the decrease in sales revenue in the Chinese market. However, sales revenue of Mac and iPad both increased, and sales of wearable devices, home and accessories products also declined. As for service sales revenue, it increased significantly compared to the same period last year.
As for the possibility of increasing tariffs on imported products from the Chinese market after Trump takes office, which may lead to higher prices for Apple products assembled in China, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that he will continue to pay attention to this, but did not reveal too much about Apple's possible response. Regarding the development of DeepSeek, which has recently attracted market attention, Tim Cook only said that he is happy to see developments that can bring higher work efficiency.
