HomePod, which defines a new living room music listening experience as the "new sound of home," was first unveiled during WWDC 2017. After officially going on sale in February 2018, it was only recently opened for sale in China and Hong Kong, and the Siri digital assistant service in HomePod was added with support for Chinese interaction.
Regarding HomePod's usage model, Apple positioned this product as a way to transform the music listening experience at home. Therefore, when introducing it, Apple placed particular emphasis on its seven sets of speaker units with corresponding beamforming technology, allowing users to maintain the same listening experience in every corner of the home. Furthermore, through its built-in six array microphones, it can clearly "hear" users' spoken interactive commands in any sound environment, and through the Siri digital assistant service, it can understand the needs contained in users' spoken words and then make interactive responses.
At the same time, since HomePod also supports Apple's HomeKit connection protocol, it can also serve as a connection and control hub for IoT devices in the home.
