However, it will only be physically displayed in special areas of Apple Stores in major areas such as New York and Los Angeles, and will be equipped with tools to help adjust the wearing experience.
However, Apple expects to be able to display Vision Pro in all Apple Stores in the United States in the future, allowing more consumers to actually experience this virtual vision headset.
Apple plans to start selling Vision Pro in global markets by the end of 2024. Relevant news revealed that Apple has begun internal discussions on whether to choose the United Kingdom and Canada as the first countries and regions for listing outside the United States. It is also preparing to bring Vision Pro to France, Germany, Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea for sale.
However, the current price of Vision Pro is US$3500, which may make many consumers wait and see. Therefore, many reports have pointed out that Apple plans to launch a more affordable version, which is expected to be released in 2026, in order to attract more consumer groups.
As for the Vision Pro, which will be sold in the US market soon, Apple seems to be working on creating a dedicated iPhone app that allows users to scan their heads with their iPhone in advance, so that users can more quickly determine the headband size that is suitable for them. It can also collect users' vision data in advance, so that the pre-ordered Vision Pro can better meet their personal vision needs.
At the same time, due to limited supply and the high price of the device itself, Apple Stores will only display and provide experience with 1-2 sets of Vision Pro in the initial stage. Apple will not display and sell Vision Pro through third-party distribution channels until at least 2025. Therefore, in the initial stage, Vision Pro can only be purchased through Apple's own sales channels.
