After previously adding ads recommending app downloads to the App Store’s search page and search results, Apple will next add ad slots to the Today page and app detail pages.

Just like the ad slots previously added to the search page and results, the ad slots added to the Today page and app details page will also be specially marked so that users can see at a glance that they are advertising content, avoiding disputes such as inducing users to click on the wrong button.
Apple explained that the newly added ad slots are mainly intended to increase more app content promotion opportunities, and emphasized that the newly added ad slots also follow the privacy standards set by Apple, that is, personalized ads will not be recommended to users under the age of 18, nor will sensitive data be used to push precise advertising content.
On the other hand, Apple emphasized that the newly added advertising column will only include approved App Store page content, will not include other product advertisements, and will not contain content from outside the App Store.
