Apple earlier obtainedNew patent application approved, which states that the iPhone will be connected to the head-mounted display, allowing users to watch and use virtual visual content driven by the iPhone through the head-mounted display.
It is not yet clear whether Apple plans to use this patent to create an actual product. Previous news has also been reported that Apple plans to create a virtual vision headset powered by iPhone, which may be used as the product previously announced at WWDC 2023.VisionProAdditional options.
Considering that the Vision Pro is priced at $3499, if Apple creates a real product based on this patent, it is expected to beRelatively low-priced formHowever, the actual application experience may be different from Vision Pro, such as display vision, interactive feeling, and even power usage time.
However, it is currently unclear how the patent connects the iPhone to the headset, or whether the iPad is considered as a driving device.
