Apple released an event invitation earlier, confirming that it will hold an autumn new product launch conference at 9 a.m. Pacific time on September 7 (10 a.m. Taiwan time on September 9). If nothing unexpected happens, the iPhone 8 series and Apple Watch series 1 will be officially unveiled. As for the new iPad Pro and new Mac, they are expected to be unveiled through another launch event in October.
The event will still be held through online live broadcast, and Apple released an event invitation with the Apple logo composed of stars as the theme.
The iPhone 14 series expected to be launched this year will cancel the mini model, but will add the iPhone 14 Plus with a large-size screen design. Like the iPhone 14, it will continue to be equipped with the A15 Bionic processor, only the new iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be replaced with the new A16 Bionic processor.
In addition, the new iPhone 14 is expected to maintain the same price as the iPhone 13, but the price of models with specifications above iPhone 14 Pro may increase slightly. At the same time, the hardware specifications will also be improved, and even designs such as always-on display screens may be added.
As for the Apple Watch series 8, in addition to the standard watch design, Apple is expected to update the Apple Watch SE model this year, and add the Apple Watch Pro model to meet the needs of outdoor sports use. It will adopt a larger surface, more scratch-resistant design, and integrate more outdoor sports application modes.
In addition to launching the new iPhone 14 series and Apple watch series 8, Apple will also release the official version of iOS 16 and the official version of watchOS 9. However, the official version of iPadOS 16 will be delayed and launched together with new iPad Pro models, and the official version number will be 16.1.
The second launch event, scheduled for October, is expected to focus on the Mac series, but the iPad series will update the appearance of the standard iPad in addition to the iPad Pro, making it closer to the current iPad series product shape.
