Apple launched earlierA website called "Snapshot on Apple", used to present dynamic news about celebrities related to Apple Music, Apple TV+, and sports events.
Celebrities currently included include Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, American singer Sabrina Carpenter, American rapper Kendrick Lamar, American singer-songwriter Ariana Grande, American actors Brad Pitt, American actress Jennifer Aniston, American actress Brie Larson, baseball player Shohei Ohtani, Argentinian football player Lionel Messi, American basketball player Stephen Curry, American tennis player Serena Williams, etc.
In addition to individuals, the "Snapshot on Apple" website also includes updates from members of famous groups such as Coldplay and BTS, allowing users to track the recent developments of celebrities and famous groups through the website content.
By clicking on a celebrity's name or photo, you can view their brief biography and recent works, and listen to or watch more content by linking to Apple Music, Apple TV+, or Apple Podcasts services, thereby increasing the viewing and usage rate of Apple's service content.
Prior to this, Apple also launched its own online social platform Ping in 2010. The idea at the time was to combine the iTunes service with the online social service so that more fans and supporters of the same music content could connect through the same interests, thereby boosting the usage rate of the iTunes service.
However, Ping was defeated in the fierce competition in the online community at that time and ceased operations at the end of September 2012. However, perhaps the "Snapshot on Apple" website service can act as a relay station to attract more people to use Apple's services.
