Apple earlier seemedApplying through an external company, applied for trademarks including "Reality One", "Reality Pro" and "Reality Processor" in the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Costa Rica, Uruguay and other places, which seems to indicate that the virtual visual head-mounted device expected to be launched next will use "Reality" as the product name.
Earlier, it was also reported that Apple would create a virtual vision head-mounted device. An operating system called "RealityOS", which will be based on the iOS operating system and will also be able to interact intuitively with devices such as the iPhone.
The trademark application was filed by Immersive Health Solutions, a shell company established in February of this year. It was registered by Corporation Trust, a shell company located in Delaware, USA. In addition to applying for the trademark in Canada in February of this year, subsequent applications for the same trademark have been filed in other countries and regions.
Since Immersive Health Solutions applied through a law firm that has had a past partnership with Apple, it is possible that Apple is following its past practice of applying for a name trademark through an external company and then transferring the trademark to Apple.
These trademarks have not yet been approved, and Apple has not responded to any of their requests.
However, Apple has recently been rumored to be preparing to enter the virtual vision application market and will launch its own virtual vision headset. It is expected to launch the first product as early as 2023, but the initial stage will mainly be built for commercial needs, so the overall cost is relatively high.
