Apple is rumored to be launchingMultiple service bundled subscription plansexcess,Related NewsIt also claimed that Apple plans to increase the usage of service subscriptions within Apple TV, and is expected to allow users to use Apple TV+ for $9.99 per month, including CBS All Access and Showtime channel content.
Compared to recent market rumors that Apple plans to allow users to bundle multiple of its subscription services through a single-fee plan, this time the news indicates that Apple will announce as early as next Monday US time that it will allow users to pay $9.99 per month to use content from channels including Apple TV+, CBS All Access, and Showtime, thereby increasing the usage rate of channel content provided by Apple TV.
According to the current individual charging plans, Apple TV+ is priced at $4.99 per month, while CBS All Access is priced at $9.99 per month and Showtime is priced at $10.99 per month. Under normal circumstances, subscribing to these three content services at the same time will cost users at least $25.97. However, if Apple may propose a bundled subscription plan priced at only $9.99 per month, it will obviously significantly reduce users' monthly subscription payments, thereby increasing users' willingness to subscribe.
However, since the billing method of the bundled subscription plan is somewhat different from the original subscription fees of each service, Apple will inevitably have to discuss profit-sharing methods with other subscription services, which may be through fee subsidies or other conditions to reach a cooperation agreement.
According to Bloomberg News, this service will be announced as early as next Monday US time, but the specific details cannot be confirmed for the time being.
From Apple's perspective, if the multi-service bundled subscription plan promoted on Apple TV is successful, it means that the subsequent subscription plan "Apple One" that can choose to bundle multiple services under the same brand will also be successful.
