The Apple Sports app, currently only available on iPhones in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, has added a new feature called "Game Card Sharing," which allows users to create cards for upcoming, ongoing, or completed events and share them with friends.
To use this feature, your iPhone must be located in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, and must also be updated to the latest version of iOS.
Match cards created through the "Match Card Sharing" feature will include score information for a specific match. The score status will be updated synchronously while the match is in progress, and the final score will be displayed when the match is over. These cards can be shared via iMessage or other online social services, allowing more people to learn about the match and view the match content through related links, thereby spreading attention to the match.
Currently, events that support this function include NBA, MLB, NHL, and even the Formula One racing event "Saudi Arabia Grand Prix" starting in 2021.
