Apple has begun providing iOS 18.1 beta 1 preview test versions to developers, allowing them to experience some of the "Apple Intelligence" services in advance
However, at this stage, it mainly provides partial text proofreading, key summaries and rewriting, as well as further interactive experience functions for Siri.

AsBloomberg News previously reported thatApple has begun releasing iOS 18.1 beta 1 preview versions to developers. It also simultaneously released iPadOS 18.1 beta 1 and macOS 15.1 Sequoia beta 1 preview versions, allowing developers to experience the early version of the "Apple Intelligence" service in advance.

As Apple previously explained, the "Apple Intelligence" service will initially be available only in English and is limited to the United States. It also states that it is not currently available in the European Union or China. To use the "Apple Intelligence" service in the beta version, your device's region must be set to the United States, and both the device language and the Siri language must be set to US English.

In addition, the "Apple Intelligence" service is currently only compatible with iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, and is not yet available for other iPhone models. As for iPad models and Mac models, they must be used with M1 processors or above.

As for how to obtain it, you must first register your device through the Apple Developer official website, then select the Developer Preview item through the Update item in the device settings, and then you can choose the iOS 18.1 beta 1 preview test version, or iPadOS 18.1 beta 1, macOS 15.1 Sequoia beta 1 preview test version.

However, when selecting the "Apple Intelligence" item in the settings, you still need to choose to join the waiting list to activate the relevant functions. Basically, you only need to wait a few hours to enable it.

However, the currently launched "Apple Intelligence" service functions do not yet include the integration of ChatGPT in cooperation with OpenAI, and the Genmoji function that automatically generates emojis. In addition, it is not possible to call Siri to intervene in the app. It only provides services such as spelling proofreading, key summaries, rewriting, and automatic generation of album content, making it easier for Siri to understand incoherent sentences. It also supports using Siri via text input.

As for more features, they may be added with subsequent test version updates and will be officially available in the United States in October this year, but the full functionality will not be fully available until at least 10. At the same time, news of entering more countries and regions may also be announced. Whether the response measures of the European Union and China will be announced cannot be confirmed for the time being.
